The undeniable — apparently unstoppable — rise of Medicare Advantage plans nationwide means one sure thing, she believes. It’s time to “dust off” any existing MA contracts and renegotiate. “Don’t settle for the first contract terms that the MA plan sends,” she advises. “Do your due diligence, investigate your actual costs versus the reimbursement, and then hit the MA plan with your data to prove why you should be reimbursed at a higher rate.”
